Dressed for Confidence: Helping a New Jersey Chef Share His Story of Resilience
At Feury Image Group, we believe that professional pride begins with presentation. That principle extends beyond our uniform programs and branded apparel. It’s part of how we support the people and communities around us—especially through custom workwear for senior living professionals and partners.
Our partnership with Chef Cardie Mortimer, a New Jersey–based executive chef and motivational speaker, reflects that commitment. Through his acclaimed Culinary Therapy series, Chef Cardie brings humor, hope, and heart to senior communities across the state—reminding audiences that creativity and resilience often begin with the simple act of showing up and looking the part.
Recently, Chef Cardie celebrated his 125th Culinary Therapy presentation at The Woodlands at Ramsey, a Springpoint Living community. Feury Image Group was proud to provide custom embroidered chef wear through our retail brand, Work Hard Dress Right.
Serving Senior Living Facilities
As a member of LeadingAge, the respected network of nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the quality of care and life for older adults, Feury Image Group provides top-tier uniform programs, custom workwear, and promotional products to senior living organizations and healthcare facilities.
In addition, Feury Image Group supports Chef Cardie’s Culinary Therapy tour with custom-printed materials, including recipe cards (a keepsake suitable for the chef to autograph) for attendees and branded signage for each host location—demonstrating how the company’s expertise in uniform programs, print, and promotional solutions helps bring the experience to life.
Supporting Professionals Who Inspire Others
Chef Cardie’s journey embodies perseverance. After a spinal injury in 2011, he rebuilt his life and career through cooking—transforming that experience into Culinary Therapy, a program that now reaches senior centers, healthcare facilities, and culinary schools throughout New Jersey.
“Every time I put on my chef coat, I’m reminded that I’m still a professional and that I still have something valuable to give,” Cardie says. “Looking the part helps me feel the part.”
That sentiment reflects what Feury Image Group delivers every day. Whether it’s healthcare teams, corporate staff, or skilled trade professionals, our custom workwear and managed uniform programs help organizations elevate appearance, build consistency, and promote pride across their workforce.
